This gets tricky

Solace Waxing & Skin Care is inside of Jacquelyn’s Spa.  The sign out front says Jaq’s but I’m in there.  Along with a few other business. Hair, Massage, & Acupuncture.
It’s the same building that The Living Room Restaurant, KinderCare, Urban Adventours is in (the bike shop w/ green awnings).  Please text me if you are close but not sure where you are.

Often times a phone GPS sends you about a block too far into the North End.  If you are between Beacon Hill Sports Club and Joe’s American Bar & Grill you have gone to far.  I’m at the edge of the North End where the Financial District meets Quincy Market Place.  My front door faces the Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Rose Garden in the Christopher Columbus Park.  I can see the Carousel on the Greenway from front door.

Boston’s North End waterfront

Welcome to the North End of Boston !

Where there is no parking !
Parking is very limited throughout Boston.  Be prepared to pay for parking if you are driving.  There are some metered spots available but after 6:00PM they become resident parking only.  Leave plenty early because even though you are paying for parking it might not be available.  Crazy right? You know the 3 things that are the worst in Boston? Parking. Parking. Parking.

So whether you are getting a quick wax or a super long relaxing facial, expect traffic and lack of parking.  A great idea is to just take the “T” or walk.  Please arrive early in case you need to use the bathroom or get a drink of water.  Being late is not okay. I truly do my best to run on schedule for you.  I totally respect your time and I will text you if I even think I might be running late.

The nearest “T” stops are:

  • Aquarium on the Blue Line
  • Haymarket on the Orange Line.
  • Government Center on the Green Line.

Of course there is Uber. Everybody’s doin’ it.
